Tio Hardiman has worked with over 200 churches statewide, volunteered with recovery homes, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, saved many lives, hired over 300 ex-offenders, reduced violence in Chicago and throughout the state, worked on Police Reform, rescued several women from prostitution rings,  worked with the Humane Society of the United States, saved many dogs from fighting rings in Chicago, supported the Fight for $15, and more.

Raised by his grandparents in Chicago Tio values the traditional and non-traditional family structure. It truly takes a village to raise our children and strengthen our community. 

Tio is running for Governor to rebuild Illinois into a state that works for all of us. City by City, Community by community, household by household. He knows that everyone deserves good-paying jobs so they can support their families. He will protect and expand Illinoisans access to quality and affordable healthcare and work tirelessly to strengthen our public schools statewide.

Married for 18 years, his wife, Alison Hardiman is a dedicated wife, mother. 

Increased Funding

Hardiman believes education should be a   priority he will increase funding for schools and early childhood education programs.

Hardiman understands that  today, gender bias continues to create huge barriers for many women. We feel women and men should be treated equally.
